$599.00Price

Remington Sportsman-58 12ga Semi-Auto Shotgun - Factory Engraved Dogs & Ducks - C&R Eligible
Description:
This is the affordable field-grade version of Remington's early gas-operated autoloader, produced from 1956-1963 before being replaced by the Model 1100.
Key Features & Details:

Gauge & Chamber: 12 GA, 2¾" shells
Barrel: Fixed FULL choke
Receiver: Beautiful factory engraving on both sides
Stock & Forend: Walnut with checkered pistol grip and distinctive diamond-pattern checkering on the forend. Includes a vented rubber recoil pad.
Action: Gas-operated semi-automatic – functions reliably with standard 2¾" loads
Overall Length: Approximately 48-50" (standard field configuration)

Condition:
This is a used shotgun with honest field wear consistent with its age (likely late 1950s/early 1960s production). The wood shows normal scratches, dings, and some finish checking, particularly around the forend and grip area. Metal has light patina and operational wear but no heavy rust or pitting. Checkering remains sharp. There is a small crack/chip in the wood near the receiver/forend junction (visible in photos). Bore is clean and bright. Overall, a solid shooter and attractive display piece with that desirable factory game-scene engraving.
These Sportsman-58s are increasingly popular with collectors and hunters who appreciate classic American shotguns. The engraved receiver gives it a premium look without the high-end price.
